Guitarist Nadav Remez brings his organ trio, with Gary Versace on Hammond and Colin Stranahan on drums, to Birds for the first time. Together for more than eight years, the trio has developed the kind of intuitive, telepathic interplay that only comes from a long run of playing together. Expect two sets of adventurous standards and originals, ranging from the swing and blues of the organ tradition to more open, exploratory territory.
